Forever Young!

A sketch I did in the A5 hardcover book. I've been trying to get the book full of double spreads and this is the latest. enjoy !

Christmas sketch 2010

A little something with Christmas spirit. Just a little late as well, I did it yesterday but late to post.
Anywho with this marks the beginning of a new style of drawing I hope to adopt, a bit more rough than defined linework. I'm going to add some other work that I did before the new year.

Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner, I think I might make an effort to get something Christmas related done and post it Christmas day. As for other projects I have came up with the concept 'What if?' I won't give away any details just yet but I can promise humour with the next few pieces I will be working on.

oompa loompa sketch

Why an Oompa Loompa you ask?
The story goes my brother showed me an oompa loompa remix and I thought it was really cool. Anywho I have always been an advocate of the correlation between music and art so I came up with an oompa loompa double page sketch

phuket sketch

I went to Phuket about a month ago, it was good to relax. Although I didn't manage to get much drawing in I managed to do this sketch. I continued the floral look because it was so much fun with the last sketch, added in a few female heads for kicks. It's sort of funny I think the one on the left sort of looks like Rihanna. Overall I'm happy with this one

forest sketch

Inspired by an illustrator James Jean, when I started this I really started to enjoy drawing floral for the first time. I think this piece is equally inspired by James Jean and the movie Avatar. It took a while to do this, I tried strictly to do it on train rides, something to do with keeping my drawing skills up. I think it turned out nice

restless tee design three: the bat

The first design I started and the last I finished. I became obsessed with getting it right with the pencil first and foremost then adding some rendering with the pen was the fun part. The bat is definitely my favorite

restless tee design two: sonic the hedgehog

After speaking with Marcus about another design, somehow I came up with the idea of Sonic. I promised something freaky and I think I have easily achieved it whilst besides the header it is still recognisable that it is Sonic.

restless tee design one: sugar skull girl

I became interested in sugar skull girls when I saw a tattoo on the internet, I didn't want to go with the same style that they typically appear in. I think that I have achieved a nice interpretation of the sugar skull girls.

oh the bat

just another process photo, I really like how the bat design came out, it looks scary enough for a hardcore tee

slaving for the love of it

i was lucky enough to get the gig for coming up with some illustrations for restless t-shirts. a band that my mate marcus is in. i'll show some process shots then put up the designs.

kraftwerk poster final

the final job, it looks good but i like the original more to be honest

kraftwerk poster original

this was made for a poster i had to do for a school assignment, i liked it without all the details so i saved the original as well.
